After a couple winters with little snowfall, we are definitely making up for it this winter! Ringing in the new year with our first snow of the year on Jan 2!
Up! Up! Up!
Joel & Benjamin went down together! Such fun memories!
Noah and Jett took the old crib mattress up the hill...it was quite a feat getting it up there!
She loves to go swiding!
I'm trying to play here...could you stop with the pictures already!!?
Just a couple fun shots of our butterfly bushes covered in snow!
A little foggy, but we came in to warm up and left the boys outside to play a little longer! Love that silly face!

Two days after Christmas it was so nice that we went to Carriage Hill for a bit and explored! What fun we had!
Those eyes read every person she meets! Oh, how I pray she uses that for the glory of God!
That face makes me melt!
Those wheels are always turning!
and LOVE! (always has to be like her boys!)
I wish everyone knew the awesomeness of this guy, but there just aren't enough words to describe him so you'll have to take my word for it.♥
I love windmills!
That's all folks!

Last night we had wanted to take the kids on a walk at a local nature park, but with the impending rain and the melting snow and the chill to the air, we decided to stay home. Joel had made the corn chowder so we set up the kids table by the tv and put on a movie. Richie Rich. Remember that one? Always one of my faves. I hadn't seen it in a while and there seems to always be little moments in every movie like that where I wonder if the kids will notice or if it will spur questions. So we are watching and a stone statue is seen for a minute. It's a lady. She is topless. Benjamin snickers. Joel and I share 'the look.' Benjamin with a little giggle in his voice says, "I saw her...armpits." I thought I might explode with laughter AND relief! 😭😂😭
